ATV: Lancelin
Located just 90 minutes north of Perth, the white rolling sand dunes of Lancelin offer fantastic off-road adventure options. As WA’s premier sandboarding, quad biking, and 4WD destination, the expansive dunes rise three stories high in some places. Entry to the dunes is free, and the whole family can come along for the ride.
You don’t need a road-registered bike (or even a driver’s license) to ride the Lancelin Sand Dunes, but if your vehicle isn’t road registered, you’ll need an Off-Road Registration.
Remember to bring along safety equipment (helmet, full protective gear), and don’t forget your sunnies as, when the sun is shining, the glare from the snow-white sand can be overwhelming.
